25th - 29th June 2024 at Stoke Park

Order of Play for Day 1 Confirmed Plus Tournament News

It’s that time of year again, when the world’s best male tennis players come to Stoke Park to get their grass-court games in gear ahead of the Championships, Wimbledon. We’re thrilled to have so many talented players on board and this year’s player field looks like our best ever line-up.

We’re also thrilled to have you at The Boodles, whether you are a regular visitor returning to your favourite tennis tournament or you are coming to spend the day with us for the first time. Either way, day one of 2013 The Boodles promises to be a very special one.

First up is Bulgarian hotshot Grigor Dimitrov, who takes on Serbian top ten hero Janko Tipsarevic. This promises to be a clash of styles of play and both of these engaging personalities offer plenty to entertain. 22-year-old Dimitrov is a rising star of the men’s game and has already beaten World No1 Novak Djokovicthis year with his swashbuckling style of play.

Our second match features former The Boodles champion Marin Cilic, who comes to Stoke Park fresh from playing in the Aegon Championships final against Andy Murray at Queen’s Club on Sunday. He will be playing Aljaz Bedene, a player who you are bound to hear more about in the coming weeks and months.

Our third match is still to be confirmed but given our all-star line-up, it’s sure to be players worthy of our stunning centre court. Enjoy your day at The Boodles - let’s raise a glass of Veuve Cliquot to a wonderful day’s tennis and another fantastic week at Stoke Park.
