Few tennis players are as talented or inspire as much affection as Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro. ‘Delpo’, as he is affectionately known has won many of the biggest titles in the sport including the 2009 US Open title, back-to-back Olympic silver medals in London 2012 and Rio 2016 as well as playing a pivotal role in helping claim Argentina's first Davis Cup title at the end of 2016.

It is widely agreed in tennis circles that Delpo could have won many more titles had it not been for a career plagued with injury, including successive wrist injuries requiring surgery to both left and right wrists.  The good news is that the giant Argentine is back, bigger and better than before, reaching the semi-final at Roland Garros and heading back to the top of the rankings.
