Few tennis players are as talented or inspire as much affection as Argentina's Juan Martin del Potro. ‘Delpo’, as he is affectionately known, has won many of the biggest titles in the sport including the 2009 US Open title, back-to-back Olympic silver medals in London 2012 and Rio 2016 as well as playing a pivotal role in helping claim Argentina's first Davis Cup title at the end of 2016.

It is widely agreed in tennis circles that Delpo could have won many more titles had it not been for a career plagued with injury, including successive wrist injuries requiring surgery to both left and right wrists.  The good news is that the giant Argentine appears to be back bigger and better than before after making his debut back from injury at The Boodles in 2016 he went on to win the 2016 ATP Comeback Player of the Year.

A 15 match winning streak to start 2018 including back-to-back titles in Acapulco and Indian Wells, where he beat Roger Federer to take the title, have propelled Delpo back into the Top 10 and shown that he is still a contender for the major titles.
